Golden Towns is a city building manager, like Ceasar, Pharaoh, Cultures. It is similar to famous Facebook games for farming and housing. And this game makes real money. Every hour one action point is generated, to spend on buildings, production or repairs. The first thing to do is upgrade the houses to maximum level, so happiness becomes 100%. This will open the option to sell workers for gold. Then make production buildings, but as much as you can handle. Maintenance is hard, so more buildings gets harder to keep things in order. Then build the gold mine. Mining need a lot of resources. Build the barracks to train soldiers. Defend, attack or sell them for gold. Gold is used to buy time, finish buildings, buy resources, buy shares and bonds or exchange it for real money. The game is less battle oriented, and if the town, or country is occupied, it just take a % of collected resources.
The main objective is to mine or sharehold for gold and watch the town not to fall apart. The gold is the main resource that is exchanged for real money.
Here are the ways to make gold:
1. Mine it with a gold mine. 2. Sell workers and Soldiers. 3. Buy game shares when you have gathered enough gold to invest. 4. Buy shares from other cities and countries. Point 3 and 4 are done when in Inventory tab. To the left there is circle with arrows that says 'Financial News'. Click it and see how other players buy and sell. Learn from them. Additional tabs under Inventory tab will show Town Bonds, Country Bonds and Game shares. 5. Play a game of chance.
